Andy and Klare's wedding was a blast! Taking place in Mankato, we were gifted with great weather right before the first snow. I got some really great pictures that I'm looking forward to posting, I'm pretty excited.

Recovery

After the hard drive where I keep all of my pictures that are either ready for print or still need editing crashed, I had to go back and reprocess 6 shoots. Biiiig pain, especially while in a statistics class (that had tests at least once a week!). Regardless, I'm now almost caught up with one left to go. My apologies to Katie and Trevor, but your wedding is the farthest away! :)

Anyway, I got some images I'm pretty proud of that I'd like to share with you.






As you can see, I'm on a black and white kick.

So!

I haven't been able to post very much, I've been very busy processing shoots and recovering from a computer issue...I also took a summer class four days a week.

Regardless, my most recent shoot was at a wine tasting event that was held as a charity benefit for a friend of mine who requires (another) back surgery. If you have an interest in helping us by buying a bottle of wine, drop me an email and I'll get you a wine/price list.

The event was a blast; tons of fun, lots of new and old people, and some great wines. I only managed to get a handful of pictures that I thought were applicable, so I'll only post a few here you can check out on my flickr or the full facebook album.

My first Engagement Session!

Yesterday I had a blast shooting my first engagement session with Amy and Brandt! They were a ton of fun and up for just about anything I could come up with...including climbing hills, hiding in tall grass, asking random old people if we could use their barn, and getting a little wet and sandy on the beach. I couldn't have asked for a better couple to shoot for my first one!

I'm working on editing all the photos I took, but here are some to tide you over.

A Beginning...

Dear Friends, Family, Clients, and Fans...

With my first, real, live engagement shoot coming up next Sunday and bookings trickling in, I finally have something to talk about!

I'm really looking forward to the engagement shoot with Amy and Brandt. I went to high school with Amy, and haven't met Brandt yet, but I can only assume he's a stand up guy. As an added bonus, they're bringing their son for the first part of the shoot. I'm looking to get more creative and more technical than I ever have in the past with these photos. It's an added treat the session will be in my hometown!

I'd like to thank everyone who has recommended me to their friends, family, and acquaintances to help me get started.
